Depending on the situation and your needs, PH&A can get involved in your business in three different ways:
As advisors
First, an inventory of your property, connecting vital figures (occupancy, average room rate, turnover rate, net result, etc.) to all aspects controlling these figures: hotel location and offerings, organizational structure, staff motivation and professionalism, and—most importantly—the quality and effectiveness of your management team. A profound inventory tells you exactly what is causing your property to suffer. Once all options are examined for improvement, you will be presented with a detailed plan of action. Ready to use. Fully geared to your property. Naturally, the first concern is to hand you the tools to stop the acute bleeding and further slide. When that is done, you will be guided towards the desired levels of sophistication and profitability.
As interim managers
Sometimes problems are so diverse and severe that your own management team is unable to pinpoint them, let alone solve them. In such cases, you will step aside momentarily, you closely observing, for a revival of your organization from within. When the property is back on its feet, gradually management is handed back to your (new) team, making sure that all systems are in place and operating properly.
As investors
Most problems are not caused by lack of funding. But if they are, in addition to serving you as advisors or interim managers, PH&A can also provide (part of) the money needed to turn the tide.

Of course, we are no miracle doctors with a cure-all. We take on assignments only if we are sure we can do the job. Quickly, hands-on and with lasting results. If we cannot do the job, we will tell you so and explain why, as well as help you to find the people who can.
“Managers do not control the quality of a product when the product is a service…The quality of the service is in a precarious state. It is in the hands of the service workers who “produce” and deliver it.”
